Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

This policy explains what personal data EightK Germany Europe ("EightK", "we") collects, why, and the rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It applies to eightkgermany.com and our service.

Data controller: [company name, postal address and email of the controller — to be completed].

1. What we collect

  • Account & contact data — the details you give us when you subscribe, start a trial, or message us (e.g. name, email, the contents of your live-chat or form messages).
  • Payment data — handled by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
  • Technical & usage data — IP address, device/app type, and basic logs needed to deliver the service and keep it secure.
  • Cookies — see section 5.

2. Why we use it (legal bases)

  • To provide the service you asked for — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To run and secure the service, prevent abuse and answer support requests — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Where required by law — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • For anything optional (e.g. non-essential cookies) — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with processors who help us run the service — for example our payment provider, hosting/server provider, and live-chat tool — and only as needed. They act on our instructions under data-processing agreements. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. International transfers

Our servers are based in Germany. Where a processor is outside the EU/EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies needed for the site to function. Any non-essential or analytics cookies are used only with your consent, which you can manage or withdraw at any time in your browser. [If an analytics tool is added later, list it here.]

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your data; to object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Germany, your state Data Protection Authority). To exercise any right, contact us via our contact page.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep risk low.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date reflects the latest version.

This is a template and should be reviewed by a qualified data-protection professional before launch.
